I can't remember the master security password and all I want is the new version of FF to remember my logins???

The previous version of FF was set to remember my signin passwords. The newer version is not and requires a master security password to RE-SET an option that was previously set. I have tried all my typical passwords and nothing is working . What do I do to change the master password?

A couple of methods:

The first is explained in this link - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Forgot+my+master+password

The second is the manual method.

  1. Open your profile folder, for details of how to find it see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles
  2. Close Firefox
  3. Delete key3.db, signons.sqlite and if they exist signons.txt, signons2.txt and signons3.txt

Using either method will delete any saved passwords.
