Everytime I enter GMail I have to type in my user name and password. It does not help To check the box "stay signed in" Sometimes it remembers the password but never the user name

  • Such details are stored in a cookie.
  • You must allow that cookie (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions), especially for secure websites and if you let cookies expire when Firefox closes
  • Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
