Site refuses to play film in Firefox, while Chrome works fine

Site is https://www.ziggogo.tv/nl/home which is a Cable Television provider's site.

Is days of Yore, we users were asked to tell if a site did not work with Firefox. Now I had to find this forum :-(

I'd like to understand what makes Firefox incapable of playing the film featuring my father from the sixties, two 2 years before he died. For me it is not a real problem, because Chrome waits always in the background to take over. I'd just prefer to let it wait for eternity.

I'm on Windows 11.

Actually, i get a pop-up that says 'Unplayable Playing in this browser is not supported"

At the bottom of your menu there's a "Report Broken Site" item that collects the information for you to submit the form.

Or you can file it manually at webcompat.com if you wish.

Please provide the exact link to the broken video playback, or its title to look for it when trying to reproduce.
