In order to troubleshoot your particular problem we would need to know more information. - What is your computer operating system? - What version of Thunderbird? - Is this an IMAP or POP3 email account? - Are you setting this up for the first time, or did it used to work but stopped? - MOST IMPORTANTLY: Please quote us any and all error messages you see, complete and verbatim.
