I use 2 different apps & extensions for my browsers and thankfully I've never seen ads on YouTube for years. I also don't get the warning that you received about having to disable ad-blockers to watch a video (yet? hopefully I never will). This is what I've been using for years: - Windows apps (paid): AdGuard & Kaspersky (Standard/Plus/Premium, all offer the same on this matter). - Browser extensions (free): Same as the apps. I don't think the Kaspersky Protection extension works without their Windows app, but AdGuard has a free extension available to use that doesn't require the app, although im not sure if it offers the same ad-blocking features as the paid license. Give it a try and see? I think AdGuard alone is enough to get rid of all the annoying ads, but these 2 are always my go-to apps and extensions that I can never use the internet without. I also have them on my Android phone, but sadly AdGuard can't block the ads within the YT app itself because it's an Android system protection thing (it does however block them on the YT website through the browser if you're willing to use that, and it also just makes browsing any ad-filled websites so much better and easter and clutter-free).
