I have the same problem as this thread "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1466152" that user could work around it with disabling some cokie in privacy badger, that did not work for me. Ive removed that extention all together and the problem is still there. Maybe your VPN doesn't allows movie streaming when it detects it.
