Thunderbird version91.5.1 does not fully open.

I think Thunderbird got corrupted during upgrade to version 91.5.1 on 1/30/22. Is there a way to retrieve my address book and old emails? If I download and install latest version, will the new version find my existing version and find address book and old emails. I tried running windows 10 in safe mode and Thunderbird in trouble shooting mode but thunderbird did not fully open. thanks,

I suggest reinstalling. That does not delete the user profile folder. Once installed, click the Windows icon on task bar, type run and on next menu, enter thunderbird.exe -p which starts the profile manager. From that menu, it shows the existing profiles.
