How to delete all saved logins and passwords at once?

thisisprivate replied

Is there a way to delete all saved logins and passwords in Firefox for Android at once?

I've managed to delete them all at once from Firefox for Windows 10, but for Android it seems like the only way is to delete logins one at a time and 3 taps per login.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Thomas

You cannot select multiple credentials (as you have found), but there is a way to remove all of them in one go...but it will also reset Firefox for Android to a first run state and remove browsing history and any personalised settings.

If you open the Android Settings app and select Applications, find Firefox and choose "clear data", it will remove all information in the app.

I hope that this helps.

Hi Seburo,

Thanks for the quick reply and possible solution, appreciate it!

It would make sense to just have a "Delete all logins and passwords" button like there is for the browsing history.

Is there any way to suggest that feature? Or do people have to reply to this thread saying they also have this problem, and if enough people do that they might consider it?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Seburo!

I've registered with Github and made the feature suggestion.

Have a good Sunday!
