I want to reduce eye strain while browsing at night. I use dark theme and the add-on DarkReader. But when any page starts loading, the placeholder (default) page is blinding white. Once the page is loaded, the add-on is able to make it dark. So I have to deal with bright flashes each time I tap a link. Is there any way to make that dark while the dark theme is active?

This issue is already fixed on Nightly.

While you're on the Release version, for now you can enable the Wait until first paint to show page content in Secret Settings.
