With the newest Firefox update, my directories in the Bookmarks list all disappeared. I can see them from Bookmark Manager, but hat's the only way I can access them or their contents. Originally they were all visible following the patch. Is there a setting that needs to be updated in order to access these from "Bookmarks" rather than "Bookmark Manager"? I already attempted the 'restore from backup'.

hi, the following steps should get you back to the bookmarking structure you're familiar with :))

  • click on the 57 library icon library icon and go to bookmarks > bookmarking tools > add bookmarks menu to the toolbar.
  • now when you click the Bookmark Menu icon (star on tray) icon that's newly appearing on the toolbar, you'll get to the same bookmarks menu like in earlier versions...

Hi Philipp,

That just displays the bookmarks I could already see in the bookmark tab. The issue is the sub-directories (and all their contents) no longer show as part of the bookmarks tab. Only bookmarks that were in the Bookmarks as children of that directory. So if I had a 'WorkProjects' folder as part of Bookmarks with 10 items in it and 5 seperate items just 'loose' in bookmarks, only the 5 items are visible/accessible.

I have to open the Bookmarks Manager/Show all Bookmarks window in order to see my folders and their contents (like 'WorkProjects' indicated above).
