How do I change the default printer format from landscape back to portrait?

The printer recently started to print emails in landscape format. I can change it to portrait one at a time, but cannot figure out how to change it as a default setting. The printer prints in portrait format as a default for all other software.

Have you tried changing the default in printer on Windows?

The default setting in Windows is portrait. Only Thunderbird over-rides this and prints landscape. Go figure!
