Firefox stores pages you've visited in your history as you browse the web. Follow these steps to delete your browsing history.

Clear your recent history
At the bottom of the screen, tap the menu button (the menu will be at the top right if you're using an iPad):
- Select on the panel to see your visited sites.
- Tap the trash icon in the bottom left corner.
- Choose from the following timeframes to clear:
- Today
- Today and Yesterday
- Everything
Clear a specific website from history
At the bottom of the screen, tap the menu button (the menu will be at the top right if you're using an iPad):
- Select on the panel to see your visited sites.
- Swipe right on the website name you want to remove from your history and tap .
Note: This will not remove any site data or logins. To do that, see the next section.
Clear individual site data
At the bottom of the screen, tap the menu button (the menu will be at the top right if you're using an iPad):
- Tap in the menu panel.
- Under the Privacy section, tap .
- Tap .
- Tap the site you want to clear or select to find the site you want to clear.
- At the bottom of the list, select Clear Items.
Clear private data
At the bottom of the screen, tap the menu button (the menu will be at the top right if you're using an iPad):
- Tap in the menu panel.
- Under the Privacy section, tap .
- At the bottom of the list, select Clear Private Data to remove all website data.
Caution: This action will clear all of your private data and cannot be undone.
Clear items from the Recently Visited section on the homepage
- On your iOS homepage, longpress on an item in the Recently Visited section to open a context menu.
- Tap the Remove icon to remove the specific page and all of its related metadata from your history.
What types of information can I remove?
- Browsing History: Addresses and cached text for websites you've visited. Clearing this will remove these websites from your top sites shown on your Firefox Home page. You can also remove individual items from the Recently Visited section on your homepage.
- Cache: Parts of web pages that are stored in the browser to make them load faster the next time you visit.
- Cookies: Files that contain information about your visit to a website, including site preferences and user information.
- Offline Website Data: Files a website stores in your device (if you've allowed it) so you can continue to use it offline.
- Tracking Protection: Sites you have placed as exceptions for Tracking Protection.
- Saved Logins: Manage saved username and password data.
