The links on the site tasteofhome.com stopped working recently. When you click on them nothing happens. If you load the same page in chrome they work fine. Any suggestions? Or is this a bug Sample URL https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/chicken-and-bows/ but there are many more

Several passwords were saved by Firefox. They are only saved locally ( no sync with Mozilla account). I recently upgraded my laptop from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Since the upgrade, no password is available in "Saved Password" section. I checked my profile and I can find logins.json file ( with all encypted logins and passwords) and key4.db file. I suppose my passwords cannot be decrypted as they were encrypted with Windows 10.

Is there a way to recover my passwords?

I'm running the latest version of Windows 10 and Firefox 143.0.1.

I recently bought my first OLED monitor, so I enabled auto-hide taskbar in Windows to try and reduce the chance of burn-in. However, while it works for the most part, it seems to often break in Firefox where the taskbar will hide, but not reappear when I move my mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen.

You can replicate this issue by having FF not maximised, then dragging its window titlebar to the top of the screen and letting go in order to maximise it. At that point, the taskbar no longer pops up when you mouse over the bottom of the screen.

How do I turn on the video control bar typically located at the bottom center of the screen? It controls features such as speed up video playback, volume boost, expand screen etc. I have in on some of my pc’s but not one one of them.

Close Firefox Turn off internet access Run CCleaner indicates Firefox internet cache cleared of ~23k of information Open Firefox browser (internet still off) Close Firefox browser Run CCleaner, and again it shows Firefox internet cache cleared of ~23k of information.

It seems to me that Firefox is still recalling cached data from somewhere. Can this caching (disk?) be disabled?

I have a number of old ReayNas Duo machines which I cannot afford to replace. Until recently they worked fine with Firefox after setting TLS to 1. Now, although I can log in, the menus done' work. Instead of taking you to the menu item the they close the menu & add 'Duo' to the page title. This is repeated each time you try to use a menu. The only exception is the 'logs' option, which seems to operate correctly. I'm using Firefox 143,0,1 on Linux Mint 22.2.

I have a few questions regarding the auto-update policy of extensions installed via ExtensionSettings with the force_installed installation mode.

1. Can the extension receive auto-updates just like extensions installed through normal means? (e.g. https://addons.mozilla.org)

1. If so, will the user be notified when the extension requests new permissions?

I tried using the Google AI to help with this and it gave me instructions to resolve the situation using developer tools, but was a dead end. I hit a roadblock trying to find a "uriTemplate" for another webmail service. The only one that had been on the mailto list was Gmail and I had removed it prior to starting this process, so there was no uriTemplate to be found. I tried calling Spectrum for help, but that was useless. Does anyone know another way to go about this?

Using my Firefox browser I tried to login to mozilla account and I get the message "Local storage and cookes are required". I unblocked all cookie settings but have the same problem. I am able to log in using my MS Windows Edge browser, which I am presently using for this post.

Just upgraded one computer to Firefox v143.0.1 and now familysearch.org is very slow and will not load hints. v142.0.1 is still on my other computer and familysearch.org works normally. Within familysearch, I can click on a hint and a pane opens on the right. It normally populates within a second or two at most. With v143.0.1, it takes a minute to partially populate, then it goes no further. With v142.0.1 it works normally. I've disabled add-ons. Cleared cache. Deleted TEMP files. Restarted browser. Restarted computer. Nothing has worked. Previous upgrades over the years have not had this issue. Other browsers (Chrome, Vivaldi, Brave, Edge, SeaMonkey) do not have this issue. Hi, I’ve noticed that Firefox often uses a lot of memory when I have multiple tabs open, even more than Chrome or Edge on the same number of tabs. Sometimes it slows down my system or makes switching between tabs laggy.

Is this normal behavior, or is there a way to reduce Firefox’s RAM usage without losing performance? Are there specific settings, add-ons, or troubleshooting steps I should try?

Watching CNN on Youtube suddenly freezes the tab. Randomly. Freezing means nothing can be done. The video simply stops without reloading or buffering. The mouse reacts, the pointer will activate ie highlight a button under the mouse, but when I click a button nothing happens. The tab freezes and nothing can be done. I can't even access the URL or search box. Nothing. I tried moving the tab itself or into another browser window, nothing. This tab is dead. Opening the same video in a new tab works like normal. I tried the usual things like deactivating Bitdefender, but no luck. Any ideas?

When I search Google Images in Firefox, this pops up. I tried using an extension to hide it, but I can't see the rest of the image, which is inconvenient. Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome load it, so it's not an issue. Is this a Firefox feature? It's a hassle to disable the extension just to read the rest. Could you please give me some advice?
