cANT LOAD FIREFOX ON WIN 10 PRO
I am getting a report from Firefox when I run the install that it can only run on Windows 10 or Windows 11 and since this is a brand new win 11 computer that has never had any other OS on it, I do not understand the report.
What can I do. Chrome and Edge had no problem loading. I plan to install Brave next.
Firefox is my primary browser.

Hi,
Sorry you experience that. The question title says "win 10 pro", but in the question body you say that "this is a brand new win 11 computer". So, which OS do you have?
Thank you for responding Denys -
As the text reads. Pls ignore the header. This is a Win 11 Pro issue.
I am suffering from recent surgery and wrote that message in frustration at thew end of a very long day solving install and config problems on Win 11 Pro which I really dislike. It has created all kinds of complex problems that sooner or later I will have to solve and I bought my copy directly from Microsoft so that I could have phone access to MS Tech Support, which no longer seems to exist.
Anyway, any solution to this problem would be most helpful.

Okay so when you go to firefox.com and grab the installer there, it opens an responds with an error message? Doesn't it give you options to manually download a full version?
If you try a different installer, e.g. from here: firefox.com/download/all/desktop-release/win64-msi/en-US — is there any difference?

Downloading the Windows version from firefox.com may serve you the small online stub installer and not a full offline setup you get from firefox.com/download/all/
