Stuck in Safe Mode--already shut computer down completely and hit exit on the firefox tabm etc.

Don't know how it switched to safe mode, but shut down computer completely, brought up Firefox (still in safe mode), clicked "exit" under the Firefox tab at upper left. Shut computer down a second time. Brought up Fire fox--still in safe mode.
