Firefox demands network log-in, but I have no network

Hi,

Are you able to access the internet with any other browser?

No. Tried Microsoft Edge. Does nothing.

Go restart your modem/router. If it has a management page, see if you can access its management page, to check if the device is actually able to connect to outside, so your internet provider has working line from it.

Rebooted it--no effect. No management or software link at all, but all readout lights are normal, including one labeled "internet," which blinks to indicate (I think) data transfer

I'd defer to support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/experience/connectivity-networking/fix-wi-fi-connection-issues-in-windows to follow Windows is actually able to connect on its own first.

Thanks for retrying to help. Did this, followed all suggestions and others I found but still no connection to internet.
