Goes around in circles. Have tried to re install, seems fine but always opens Google play

Tap the mask icon in the top right corner of the screen when using private browsing to return to normal browsing.

it seems that it is opening in "Private Browsing " mode " and I cannot find how to get back to a normal screen..
