Did something big change in Thunderbird within the last couple of weeks.?
Thunderbird used to easy and quick to use - now it is slow and cumbersome. For instance, to get it to send an email there is a delay now. It just seems to be freezing up. Lynn

I think I saw a slew of mac posts about slowness with a certain release. probably this https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1977514 which was fixed in 140.3.0 and 143. You do not mention your current version.
