JPEG attachments not displaying
My problem is that JPEG attachments don't open, though PNGs do. I've got Original HTML actioned. Defaults are set to Fastone Image Viewer. Right click shows options but "open" doesn't work. Any ideas?

Yes it happens when in Troubleshoot mode and when antivirus is turned off.
Open? Do you mean display in Thunderbird or open in some third party application?
Thunderbird can natively displays JPG and PNG but I have seen HEIC images packaged as JPG by apple products that do not open because they are not JPEG but the proprietary apple format.
I can open the jpeg by saving it and using Fastone viewer, but it won't open in TB. If I send a jpg to TB it displays it full screen, but won't open it when I click on it.
