The refresh will place your old Firefox profile on your desktop in a folder named Old Firefox Data. If your problem persists, you can partially restore lost information by copying files to the newly created profile. If you no longer need this folder, we encourage you to delete it, since it contains sensitive information. more info Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
Reinstall extensions using the backup files Τhe easiest way to get extensions back if you don't mind setting up their options again. Open Firefox and your Old Firefox Data folder on the desktop. Find the folder named extensions. Find the .xpi files and drag and drop them directly into an open Firefox window. Firefox will prompt you to install each one. Click Add for each.
