Firefox primary password isn't working and I'm unable to turn it offf.

I want to turn off the Firefox primary password. I'm already logged into Firefox and when I try to turn the password feature off after I enter the same password I used to log in, the box to confirm doesn't do anything.

Select to change the Primary(Master) Password but leave the new password field empty.

The Primary Password password is used to login to the Firefox Password Manager and unlock the passwords shown in Lockwise.

This is a different password as used to connect to the Firefox Sync Account if that if what is confusing you.
