WHY THE **** does the new firefox lose all my saved bookmarks, preferences, logins, passwords ??? 

Why not allow me to access all my saved details immediately, without all the rigmarole of having to "SYNC"

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?


Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there? Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.
