Apple Safari's new stricker rules for tracking cookies

Will you please match Apple Safari's new direction to block Facebook's (and other company's) automatic tracking to monitor our activities whether we're on Facebook or not? Please enable it by default for both the mobile and desktop versions of Firefox.

You can get a similar feature from Firefox by enabling tracking protection. I don't know when or if Mozilla will set tracking protection to being on by default. For those that are unaware of how to enable tracking protection for all browsing use the following steps for Firefox for Android.

  • Open Firefox
  • tap the 3 dot menu
  • tap settings
  • tap tracking protection
  • select "Enabled"
