Youtube mobile won't stop loading on desktop
I'm on desktop. I clicked on what turned out to be a YouTube mobile link and now my Firefox desktop browser will only load the mobile version of YouTube. I tried several standard troubleshooting steps, including clearing history, cookies, and site data, disabling all extensions, and checking about:config for a user-agent override, none of which resolved the issue. YouTube has loaded correctly in a private window. It also loads correctly when I created a new firefox profile. I'm assuming the original profile is corrupted in some way. Is this the correct answer? Is there any way to fix it?

Since YouTube works in a private window and a new profile, something in the original profile is likely causing it. Before abandoning that profile, try clearing site data for both youtube.com and google.com, then open https://www.youtube.com/?app=desktop directly. If it still happens, compare your original profile's settings with the new one rather than resetting everything.
