If I add a second gmail account, receive mail there and respond, which account will appear as the responder
I'm running Thunderbird 154.0 setup with my primary gmail account. If I add a second gmail account and receive email from there, when I reply to that will my response appear to be from my primary or the new, second gmail account?

Each account is assigned a default identity when you create it. When you reply to a message that has been received by that account, that identity will be used. You can also change the From: identity on the fly as you create your message or reply - they are listed in a drop-down list in the From field.
