Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?

so after restoring my mac to factory settings this doesn't happen anymore. i restored it to factory settings for other reasons but at least its fixed now! thanks for the help tho.

i take it back @zeroknight. it is happening again. but no it doesnt seem to happen in troubleshooting mode.

If it works in Troubleshoot Mode and in regular mode with all extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) disabled, try to find which extension is causing the problem by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change via one of these:

  • "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
  • Windows: File -> Exit
  • Mac: Firefox -> Quit Firefox
  • Linux: File -> Quit

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting to apply changes.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

wdym If it works in Troubleshoot Mode and in regular mode? also it seemed to stop happening again, i guess the issue is intermittent.

If it works in Troubleshoot Mode, try disabling your extensions.
