Too much memory usage even in a single tab (More than 4gb of ram being used)?
Too much memory usage by firefox even this screenshot was taken after the memory usage dropped and system responded

Already tried the above mentioned links many times still problem persists.

Could you please run a tool from http://memtest.org/
in order to check the integrity of your RAM?
You will need a thumb or disk drive to install it on.
Memory is in perfect condition already tested it twice. I've even tried to swap the slots, putting in some brand new RAM, none of that worked.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
