On a new tab page, I have unselected "recommended stories" and added four rows of shortcuts. Almost invariably, when I open a new tab, Firefox has added a couple of new shortcuts, bumping two of mine off the page. The shortcuts I've selected are the ones I want. I would like Firefox to stop making suggestions. Does anyone know if that's possible, and, if so, how do you do it?

On clicking a link, the new tab is not on the right of the former tab. It appears ANYWHERE way down to the right. So I cannot move easily between the first page and the next page. I have to hunt up and down the tabs. I have done the config, no change. I have done the extension, no change. If Firefox will NOT fix this I MUST change as I cannot work with this. I HAVE asked, before, and got no reply! I cannot give you an image, as the 1st tab is in one position and the other way oof to the right.

I am legally blind.

This does not happen in Chrome or Librewolf. I have performed all the usual troubleshooting like safe mode. I had the Microsoft Disability Desk recheck all my settings. And still no luck. It will follow the terst cursor in the address bar and search bar but just not on web pages like YouTube, Amazon, Goodreads et al.

Any help or suggestions would be truly appreciated. Thank you.

I use Chrome and Firefox as my browsers all the time with Firefox the default one. In Chrome i use Voice Search when I'm tired and can't be bothered typing. I have not being able to use voice search in Firefox and all my attempts have failed. Last week I saw Google Voice (https://workspace.google.com/products/voice/), downloaded it but discovered it is not available to use in my Region. I gave up and resigned myself to typing in Firefox. A few days layer I noticed a 'G' tab with my open tabs. When I closed it another one appeared and I could not get rid of it. The X to close the tab is missing and when I use close tab from the right click menu the 'G' tab closes but another one opens beside it. I didn't subscribe to Workspace. If I copy the tab to Chrome I can delete it without it reopening.

I just tried overwriting the tab with this message and then duplicated this Mozilla tab and was able to delete it without 'G' popping up again. I may have resolved the problem but if so I would like to know why it happened. I tried changing the search engines in FF and that didn't work. As soon as Google knew I was using Firefox they lost interest in helping me.

Have I missed a simple fix? Is there a way to have voice search in Firefox?

Hello Firefox Team,

On May 26th, I reinstalled Windows 11 and attempted to log into my Firefox account. Since I had forgotten my password, I had to reset it. After logging in with the new password, I noticed that all my previously saved logins (over 100 entries) were gone.

I understand that Firefox Sync encrypts data and that resetting the password might affect previously synced information. However, I’d like to confirm whether there is any way for Mozilla to help me recover these lost logins, or if they are permanently deleted after a password reset.

Any guidance or confirmation on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

After the most recent update, yesterday, the Windows Magnifier won’t follow typing in search boxes on web pages. i.e. Youtube, Amazon For instance, I had to type all this in an email and then copy/paste it to this text box. So apparently, it doesn’t follow typing at all on web pages. I am legally blind and I depend on this action. It does follow the typing in the search box on the browser itself, just not on web pages.

Sorry, I have no images to a;actually show this happening, except to say activate the Windows Magnifier and try it yourselves.

Google Gemini offered some solutions in ab out.config, but I rather hear from you guys before I try anything.

Thank you.

I am experiencing a significant issue with Mozilla Firefox after the recent update a few days ago. Since the update, I have been unable to access several websites including Facebook and Amazon, which are essential for my daily activities. This problem is quite frustrating as I have to rely on Google Chrome for my browsing needs, a browser I do not prefer. - I have updated to the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, but I’m not sure of the exact version number. - I have tried clearing the cache and cookies, but the problem persists. - I would like to know if there are any specific settings that need to be changed or if I should consider reverting to a previous version until this is resolved. Please let me know what steps I can take to restore access to these websites on Firefox. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
