I download and install firefox and it works correctly. I don't run it and come back to it later and attempt to start and I get the error "Could Not Find The Mozilla Runtime". When I restart my computer after installing, the same thing happens

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

When this happens, can you:

  • Start Firefox from the Start menu search box by typing

    firefox.exe

    and pressing Enter?
  • Locate firefox.exe here:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

For some reason my version of Windows didn't come with Windows Process Activation Service checked as activated under Windows services
