Hi all, since upgrading to Firefox 25 each time I boot Firefox I see briefly the following in a small window whilst it is opening. "Reverted change ..... on general useragent override." What does this mean and if it is a problem how is it rectified? I see the same message on Windows 7 64 bit and 2 LInux Distros. Thanks for any explanation.

cor-el, thank you for your prompt reply. I removed Extension User Agent Switcher and rebooted Firefox several times still getting the message showing as in first post. I then went on to your link and reset the general.useragent.override still without effect but I noticed that there was also 2 references to Extension Preference Monitor which I then disabled which resulted in the window showing "Reverted change ..... on general useragent override." no longer appearing on starting Firefox. So it appears the latter extension Vers.3.4.3 was the culprit. Thank you for pointing me to the solution. Your help is much appreciated, weg43.

This message is probably coming from the User Agent Switcher extension that detects that you have a user agent override active as you can see in the System Details List.
- general.useragent.override: Mozilla/5.0 (masking-agent; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0
