That may be caused by a problem with the (Lucida Grande) font that Facebook uses.

Try to disable the website fonts to see if that helps in this case.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [ ] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
