why are my bookmarks all not connecting to sites
All of my bookmarks have duplicated themselves and the links have disconnected.

This might have been caused by an antivirus or a system cleaner software corrupting the databases. There should be timestamped backups of your bookmarks to restore, see Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer
