How do I turn off the Alt Text warning on images with no text?
Please appreciate that alternative text is not always applicable.
I use the Add Image button to tick off things on a list (add image of a tick) - for my own personal use, not suitable for webviewing. Halfway through the task these Alt Text warnings just obliterate my view of the document; my attempts to not have to print it, or not have to use Adobe, are thwarted.
I'm looking at a page of grey blocks that contain a triangle which in turn contains an exclamation mark, and I can no longer see the actual document behind them.
Sorry if I've posted in the wrong place. I posted this under Thunderbird in error, whatever that is, and I reposted it under Firefox, but that;s gone. So if you find a duplicate question, I'm sorry.

Why is this on Thunderbird again??? I posted it on Firefox! Methinks the problem isn't me.

If not, can you add more detail about the "Add image" problem, such as the type of document?
Thank you, Alice. I posted this before and it ended up in the Thunderbird forum. This one is me trying to do re-post it in the FIREFOX forum, and voila - it ends up on Thunderbird.
Nevertheless, someone has rescued me and provided me with a solution. This thread is redundant. If you can just delete it, that would be sterling. But then please repost the hyperlink you sent me, by replying on the first post I made, which culminates in the solution.
