Thunderbird for android does not store sent messages in Sent folder of the e-mail server. In Dutch version the folder is named 'Verzonden' the same as in K-9 and Thunderbird for Windows. My settings are acording this wish. The actual folder of course is [e-mailserver]/Sent.

Hallo Ad, helaas kan ik dit bij mij niet reproduceren en werkt een en ander als verwacht. Wellicht ligt het aan de configuratie bij de e-mailprovider, maar ik zal eens navragen bij de ontwikkelaars.
