path changes with each new version, breaking desktop shortcut
Hi -- Not a major issue, but for a while now each firefox.exe version installs itself in a new directory, requiring me to recreate its desktop shortcut. This is new behavior; I never needed to do this previously.
So I end up with
C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Mozilla.Firefox_139.0.4.0_x64__n80bbvh6b1yt2\VFS\ProgramFiles\Firefox Package Root C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Mozilla.Firefox_142.0.0.0_x64__n80bbvh6b1yt2\VFS\ProgramFiles\Firefox Package Root C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Mozilla.Firefox_142.0.1.0_x64__n80bbvh6b1yt2\VFS\ProgramFiles\Firefox Package Root
The most recent update went to
C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Mozilla.Firefox_143.0.0.0_x64__n80bbvh6b1yt2\VFS\ProgramFiles\Firefox Package Root
Can you advise.
Thanks!

This is strange. Do you install Firefox from the Microsoft Store?
It's been so long since I installed it that I cannot recall. Probably from Mozilla site.
