Hi,

When I receive emails with links, nothing happens when I click on them. I have other profiles in Thunderbird: it works for them. I click on a link in a messge, it opens my default browser and opens the link in it. But not for my main Thunderbird profile.

Thanks a lot for your help,

I'm not sure what happened, and not sure what to do if it ever happens again.

Well, you could do what I asked you to test (if you did that before it resolved itself). Some solutions are completely daft.

I follow a few other places where changes in other software or the Operating System have detrimental effects on programs like TB. It's sometimes very difficult to tie down exactly the *why* of a problem. But glad it's resolved.

If you right-click on the link, do you get an option to launch the link? If you copy and paste the address into a browser, does the link work?

Thanks for your help. The answer to both your questions is Yes. Now my problem is gone, mysteriously. I didn't take any particular action, but now, all links in my message work. I'm not sure what happened, and not sure what to do if it ever happens again.
