My Gmail stopped working today on Thunderbird, I get a 78754 (Failure) but my gmail works on my phones.

I am using 3 emails in Thunderbird. Two for Comcast.net and one gmail.com. This morning my gmail mail stopped working with Thunderbird. It works on my phones without a problem. I am getting a 78754 (Failure) box but if that was true I would think my phone mail would not work also. The comcast.net mail is working ok. I tried rebooting, Safe mode, password reset - nothing works. Any recommendations? I also went to Google.com mail directly and there is no problem.
