Hello

Why is it so hard sometimes to add images to emails in the body of the email or as an attachment

Tonight, I pasted a png into my email and then Thunderbird spent ages attaching it until I gave up

So I added it as a jpg attachment instead but had the same problem.

I've already noticed that attachments with unusual extensions seem to block Thunderbird and I have to put them in compressed folders.

What am I doing wrong in general or is this a weakness of Thunderbird?
