I am using Linux Mint and Thunderbird v140ESR.

I have searched the knowledgebase here to find out how to add an attachment to an email. All the screenshots are for the Windows version, even though I have selected my version from the selector on the RHS:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-use-attachments#thunderbird:linux:tb140-esr

Any advice gratefully received.
