Where did the download progress in the bottom bar go?

The previous version of Firefox showed the download progress/status on the bottom task bar. I don't want to use the download window because that gets in the way when I'm doing other stuff during a download. How can I get the status bar back?

You can add those features to the add-ons bar by using the status-4-evar add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/status-4-evar
