how do i fix the vpn asking me to sign in when i already have?
When i press the VPN option, it tells me to sign in even though i already have and when i sign in again it comes back up only with the option to sign in.

This sounds like a sign-in loop. Try signing out of your Mozilla account, restarting Firefox, and signing back in before opening the VPN option again.
If it still happens, what version of Firefox are you using, and are you referring to the built-in Firefox VPN or the separate Mozilla VPN app?
