Signing a PDF in Firefox's built-in viewer: will the signature still show after saving?
Some of our property reports go to tenants as PDFs for a signature, and a few of them only use Firefox, so I'd like to point them to the built-in PDF viewer rather than asking them to install anything.
If someone signs with the draw tool and then saves with the download button, does the signature stay in the file and show up properly in other readers like Adobe Acrobat? And is there a better tool in the viewer for signatures than freehand drawing?

Keep in mind that this is not a digital signature, it's just a picture. Yes, it should be visible in Adobe Acrobat.
Thanks, that clears it up — picture vs a proper digital signature is the bit I was missing.
For us it matters because our check-in reports go to tenants as PDFs for signature, and a few tenants only use Firefox. I will just tell them to save with the download button, then reopen the file once to check the signature actually shows, before they send it back. If it is just a picture, the date and the photos in the report matter even more than the signature itself, otherwise it is hard to prove what was agreed later.
