When I initialize Firefox, before being promoted for the profile, bing opens the browser tab. Bing is not my default search engine. Why is it on Firefox? I don't use Bing.

I think you can remove Bing from the list. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-or-remove-search-engine-firefox
