Why the program will not read old zip that thunderbird made,I have watch countless hours of crap on YouTube and still can not read my old zip files, I must be missing a step in process , also I am elderly, so explain it clear Thank you, most appreciated

What is your operating system?

How large is your Thunderbird Profile?

What are you trying to do with the old zip file?

If you're trying to import a backup made with Thunderbird's Export tool, there's a warning there that it doesn't work properly if your profile is larger than 2 GB, and instructs you how to manually back up the profile. Could this apply to you?

Can you open the ZIP file with Window's built-in zip feature or a 3rd-party utility like 7Zip?
