Does using the VPN cause Microsoft to state there is unusual activity on my account ie because the IP address changes?

I installed the VPN yesterday and now have a message from Microsoft stating there is unusual activity on my account - different IP address (IP address: 63.245.216.65) and the location being in the US not the UK. Is this because of the VPN?

Hello

Yes, that's normal. I used a different vpn, with a location in Brazil, at instant. I received the email below.
