How do I fully disable firefox VPN?

When connecting to school wifi, it detects firefox VPN and doesn't allow me to do anything on the internet and I always end up having to use my mobile hotspot, which I have limited use of. Is there a way to remove the feature from firefox or fully disable it to where it's not active even just to let me enable it? It's driving me nuts.

Hi Gabriel

If you turn off Firefox VPN and refresh the page you are using, you should find that it should work okay.

Besides turning off the built-in VPN in Firefox, you can also exclude websites from using the built-in VPN in Firefox in Manage website settings.

HOW do I turn it off. I never turned it on in the first place.

The VPN is turned off and getting these messages when going to different web sites? Help I need a book for dummies!

You can try 1 - Go to configuration editor https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-config-editor-firefox 2 - Enter a search term browser.ipProtection.enabled You can double-click on the preference to set the value to false
