Messages are not downloading

Hi, from like a week now sometimes when I'm trying to run Thunderbird, it isn't downloading any messages or RSS. I don't receive any error messages or notifications, but I can see two status flags changing once per minute or so near RSS (please check attachments). When I see that, Thunderbird is in theory fully responsible, but no new messages are downloaded and shown. Please help. BK

The problem sometimes resolves after restarting the computer, but it is very frustrating to restart it each time you get an error. Plus you never know when the error will pop up next time.
