recover a firefox generated password

I reset a password and Firefox offered to generate the password which I clicked on. Now I have come to login back in to that particular website it comes up with "View saved logins". When I click on that, Firefox Lockwise says "No logins found". Can anyone help please.

Chosen solution

Did you save the password after typing? (there must have been a pop-up window with the possibility to save it) If you don't press "save login" firefox can't save it.
