Always, after an update, I loose my tabs, of websites, why? How can I restore them? On the restore tab, I cannot find them! At the "Old Firefox Data", file, how can i find them?

Hi, ouch. So no OldFirefoxProfile

Check here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data for a 2nd Profile, it will be the oldest dated one.

It will be in here :

  • sessionstore.jsonlz4 for open tabs and pinned tabs (see also the sessionstore-backups folder)

You maybe able to get information out if corrupted and found :

In the future fyi :

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

You need the sessionstore.jsonlz4 file to recover tabs.

If you have the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop then you can check thes most recent profile folder in this file. Otherwise you can check Windows restore points to see if you can locate a sessionstore.jsonlz4.

You can look at this utility to browse System Restore points.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
