My computer won't allow me to put a Firefox shortcut onto my Desktop. I have to use the icon on the Start menu. Why can't I drag a shortcut onto my Desktop? And why doesn't my Firefox menu have an Add Shortcut option?

Thank you,

Yelreveb

Did you try to use "Send to desktop" in the right-click context menu of the Firefox item in the Start menu?

(possibly in All Programs > Mozilla Firefox)
